Lucio Fontana

Lucio Fontana (1899-1968) was an Italian-Argentinian artist who proposed a reflection on the combined notions of time and space. As a result, his theories make him one of the emblematic figures of the Spatialism movement. Like his work on canvas, he fights against a so-called flatness in his terracotta and ceramic works. He tries to work the painting technique as a three-dimensional work, making his works such as a special art to observe.
